General problem with the Setup...Please Diagnose

the problem is...

BTL hooked up to autotek 3000.1

Empire audios x4 hooked up to autotek 100.4 with tbi hdss tweets

when i have everything on mids highs and woofer when i play for example (Put on) it cuts out at a curtain part in the song...even at 25/31 i looked at the trunk and saw that it would cut out and the amps would turn off then back on...

i know the 100.4 needs to get repaired (one channel is messed up)

when i have just the mids and highs on with woofer off everything is fine...

today however my jank stinger volt meter has been reading some abnormally low numbers. usually i see 14.2- 14.7, this morning volt meter is going every... from like the high 12's to the 14's...im going to get a multi meter and check the voltage from the amp.

anyone know why it cuts out when i turn the volume up? and how do i fix it???

what cuts out just the front amp, sub or both?

Voltage drop im guessing?

sounds like possible voltage drop. Try unhooking your highs/mids amp and just run the sub amp and see what happens.

alt problem, battery prob......

redo the ground wire... and redo the ground wire from the battery o the chassis

could be alt or batteries

are both amps on a common ground?

measure voltage with dmm at both amps under load and report back numbers.

werd not sure about the common grounds..nG step in

ill find a dmm from someone and get some numbers
