General help with my set up

Hey guys,

My dad just recently gave me an '03 honda element. In my old car i had a high qualty alpine deck and initity kappa speakers. A 12' jlw3 sub with a ported box and two rf amps, a p3001 for the sub and p4004 for the speakers (they are older, i think from 2004).

I'm buying a kenwood dvd hu, and can't decided between the two models(kvt-719 or 819). Basically the only difference is a 2v preout or gold 5v preout. and it is a $200 price difference.

Is it worth spending the extra 200? I want to put the sub and two amps into the element, but i'm not to familiar with what i need as far as power. Heck, I don't even know if 5v will be enough. I'm planning on leaving the stock speakers for now, so iwould have the hu, a 12' jlw3 and the two amps. I'm not sure if the 4004 is even needed since they are stock speakers, so maybe the possibility of just running the 3001 for the sub.

Just looking for some general help or maybe an alternative idea to have good SQ. Thanks for you help and time.

The only specific question I see is would it be worth $200 for higher signal voltage. Higher signal voltage is obviously good, but if its worth that much coin to you is your call.

Seems like a steep hike in price just to get 5v outputs tho. Im sure you could find other h/u's for $200 or less [total] that have 5v outs.
