fire wall hole....

last night, (car is not with me right now) i could not find anywere to put my power wire though a 2001 VW jetta's firewall

can anyone show me were i might find a place for it? or if anyone know it...let me know...thanks a lot.

Pull back the carpeting on the driver's and passenger's side. There should be a grommet with wires coming through somewhere.

If not, as I have not worked with many VW's, then break out the drill and your problem is solved.

i ripped a hole in this one rubbery thing on the right hand side...well..here im talking about it on a VW forum....

Hmm, what was coming out of this 'rubbery thing'?

Was is above the throttle assembley like mentioned in that thread?

I don't see how you could have messed anything up, unless you took a knife and started cutting shit... But a finger poke seems harmless.

im not sure were lots of stuff is in that car. i don't know for sure if water stuff was coming out of tht hole....he told me after the kid left...so..idk

but ill be looking at it soon...ill be sure to get pictures for you guys who are helping me.
