well i have a problem with my ghetto *** stereo. Dont have money to replace the car, and not even enough to replace the stereo, so im basically have to live with it. The major problem with it, is the radio channels are not able to be displayed on the moniter because it some how got broken. I can get to the radio channels i want to get, but by goin through the long process of scanning through all the channels and waiting for their DJ to say the channel so i can guide my self to the channel i want to get.

want i want to do is find how to preset my channels. For some gay reason, the method of holding the button on the channel i want to preset, does not work. But i do have these other buttons, i want to know if these buttons are possibly the solution i need. For more assistance, heres a description of what it is:

Pioneer stereo KEH-2500(on a 1990-1992 mistubishi mighty max)

Buttons:

6 pre-set buttons

Band Button

Loc. S Button

P.Scan Button

BSM Button

i dont know what these buttons are for, but is there a chance you guys can help.

Sorry if this is hard to work with, i understand this is an old stereo.

Thanks a lot guys

Reply back if you want me to send a picture of it.

There for the radio

6 pre-set buttons- you can program these as shortcuts to your fav stations

Band Button- Changes from FM to AM also FM1, FM2,FM3 for areas where there is alot of radio stations.

Loc. S Button- Tunes in only the strongest sognals

P.Scan Button- scans through the radio stations

BSM Button- Best Station Memory, automatically programs your presets to the 6 strongest stations.

well BSM will find the stations with best signal..not the ones u want (unless they happen to have best signal) but go to the station u want and hold one of the numbers 1-6 for a couple seconds then it will be set to the corresponding number

1st quote - stolen radio? - By the condition of the unit and lack of owners manual, and it sounds like he has never set stations before. I am led to belive that this unit was probably stolen and damaged. This is why I asked if the unit was stolen.

2nd quote - Can't help ya - Meaning I have no experience with this unit. So I am not qualified to help him set the radio stations. If I were to have used the unit before I would be able to help.

I am sorry my lack of information confused you. I hope this clears up any further questions. I am sorry for the mix up. I will try to be more discreptive in the future.
