Blown Tweeters

Hey guy's, i have the CDT Ef61-cfi components with the 1" silk tweeter which were running off a the new 4 channel MB Quart Reference series amp. They were only recieving around 75 watt's rms when the tweeters blew. Has anyone else had this experience with their CDT tweeters? Also, what would you recommend as a good replacement? Note that my mids are still playing fine.

umm, what did you do? Connect teh tweeters directly to the amp? lol.
