Gauge wiring for mono amp

Im lookin to buy the Rockford Fosgate T10001bd and i was wondering if can accept 4 gauge wire, because that is what i have currently hooked up to my amp and i dont wanna switch it out and i called the place whe im getting it and they said yes, but the SPECS say.... Power input: Connector - Block, Wire gauge - 1/0 AWG, so i dunno?

u can fit 4 gauge wire into a terminal that takes 1/0 easily, but chances are with the current draw u would want to use 1/0

im not to worried as long as it works cuz im running two P312D4 subs and i need a mono amp and i want to run all RF and i didnt know if 4 gauge would work in that amp and would 12 gauge work when wiring the subs to one ohm in series?
