For my power wire for a 1200w amp 2 gauge is good right???? The reason i ask is because some 2 gauge kits only come with 80 amp fuses and that only comes out to like 1152 watts....thx

2/0 is larger then 1/0 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif 2 gauge will be fine. never hurts though to run 1/0 gauge for future upgrades

Yah its 1200 rms (viper 1200). If get some extra cash i will deff. run the 1/0 cause i'm gonna get myself an orion 2500d over the summer when i actually have some money //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif . Yah, 2/0 is thicker than 2 (whoever said 2/0), it's like frickin an inch thick i don't know how i'd get that through my firewall, of cours getting 1/0 through my firewall should be fun also....

if you are gonna get an orion 2500D i would definately go 1/0 gauge

The Smaller the ga. # the larger the inside wire. I'm running voodoo hex zero ga. welders use 00 for arcwelders. :|

Running about 4600 peak watts(amps), and about 2100 rms.

I have 4 guage to my Hifonics, running about 900 rms. My wiring is good enough for it, so you should be good to go with 2 AWG until an upgraded amp.
