gain setting ? strapped kx1200.1 ( need a little help )

ok so ive got 2 kx1200.1 strapped running at 2 ohms, but i need a little help setting my gain with my dmm.......

so using the equation Sqrt(power-about 2500rms*resistance-2 ohms)= voltage ( about 70) is this correct? how did others with strapped kx1200.1's set there gains? where do you get the reading from ?(master, slave amp or both) just need a little help, ive never strapped amps together

wiring for stapping these amps together is the following ( neg speaker terminals on both amps connected together) (postive speaker terminal from one amp is used for a negitive for the speaker/ speakers ) ( postive speaker terminal from the other amp is used for a postive for the speaker/speakers)

bump anybody with kx1200.1's strapped?

You would get the gain voltage from where the speakers hook up, so in this case it would be the + on the master and the + on the slave.

When strapping it makes 1 big amp so set it as if it was just 1 amp. ok and i use the gain knob on only the master........all other setting on the slave are bypassed right?
