I don't really want a bunch of audio. I may deaden the doors, get a decent set of components, and a 10" sub, like a Q or something, and call it a day.
Hmm.. is is cable or hydraulic steering? The cables like to bind up a lot.

Yup, Jensen. Fixed the steering tonight, my dad helped me out. Happened a lot on his old boat. Just needed to be taken apart, lubed up, and put back together. Going again on Saturday hopefully. I think those audio plans sound good.

Yea, they can be a pain in the ***, but hydro steering systems are expensive, and not all that practical on a small/low cost boat.

Check out this forum. There's regional sections. Reports, area small talk, different spots, etc. Great forum.

Also, to defer the cable from binding up, buy a can called Corrosion X. Also, shoot a little silicone spray down the cable and steering parts. Like when you come back, and rinse all the salt water off. Good preventive maintenence.
