Fusion's 1995 Acura Integra GS-R Build/Clean-up Thread

i've loved these cars, a buddy of mine had one. I went out and bought my RSX and he had to get an RSX-S lol.Out of curiosity, is this a faster car than the base rsx that I have with the K20a?

To tell you the truth, I'm not too certain with the RSX's.

They had a K20, which does around 200 at the crank, but is it an auto or manual? Plus I'm sure the RSX weighs just a little more.

Ahh ok. Yea, then my car would probably be faster. Stock is 170hp. With the bolt ons, I should be seeing now about 170 give or take to the wheels. And my car is lighter by a couple hundred pounds, and 100 pounds is a 1/10 of a second in the 1/4 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

 
my GS feal's like it get's up faster then my buddy's GSR..
plus my car has a good amount of sespension upgrades and i love to take it threw the canyon, hairpin turns at 60+ mph FTW!

hell yea. im not worried about speed.

i like how a car drives, and handles over how fast it gose in a stright line..

my ex had a fully loaded 99 nissan maxima with 18's & some adjustable coil over's, that car loved to take the corner's, i miss whippin that car.

 
The car came back from paint yesterday, around 5ish she was done from baking in the booth.

Ordered a set of KYB AGX's, they should be here next week. Along with a small lineup of little parts. Like the oil cap and stuff like that, also a carbon fiber plug cover.

I was able to get a set of '98+ GSR Blades, for cheap. They're scratched up a lot, but they'll be stripped and powdercoated/painted.

 
Yea, the front lip, side skirts, and the rear valances are the OEM "Optional" kit. I've seen ABS plastic replicas (mine are fiberglass) online. Unsure about pricing, but from what I remember, they were pretty reasonable. Let me see if I can find the site again.

I'm going to do tint in a couple weeks when some cash frees up. Right now I need to get an ignition coil, and I'll be in good shape. Right now the car likes to misfire sometimes when it's WOT.

The Blades I got will be done up in bronze like the wheels on now. I'm also going to get a full emblem set from Acura and thinking about having them done in bronze too. I'd just get the gold ones, but they're like $80 more for the set, and I think it would look out of place with bronze wheels and flashy gold emblems.
