Fusing mulitple batteries in parallel

It is 1/0 wire, not 0/1 wire bro!

This is the 100% correct way to do things, if not you run the risk ( be it minimal or not ) of burning your car to the ground

I have extra batteries in the back, with 2 1/0 runs goin to them, but I didn't fuse before my back batteries. But I did up front. I have been running the setup for a year, and no problems at all. I mean why would I need to fuse before the back battery too? Just another security? Or does everyone do this? Think mine is ok?

the fuse is there to protect the wire from burning up. if only one fuse is present and if it blows, both sides are still getting power.

If you get a short on your main power wire the wire will catch on fire. You tell me if its safe or not. You may as well take the fuse out of the front, because its not doing anything without one in the rear as well

both of my pos runs to the back are fused up front. 300 amp on each run. I'm guessing I have plenty of wire for the current I am drawing. No problems so far. HHMMMM. I have one fuse right now, but will have to get another and I'll throw them back there soon. Better to be safe I guess.

Also, can I wire the NEGATIVE wire for the second battery in the back to a different ground than the engine battery ground wire ? Id like to just bolt it on the seatbelt bolt near the rear seat since its bolted to the frame. That way Id be just needing a short piece

you can run a ground from the battery in the hood. or you can just find a clean ground in the trunk...just sand it down make sure its a clean ground..

It's not really necessary to fuse between every single battery, imo.

Thats what I heard too from shops and installers.
