no it shouldnt be popping them regardless, your power wire must be shorting somewhere i had a similar problem when i ran my 4/0

could there possibly be a short where the powere wire goes into the fuse and then back into powere wire? sry dont know what that fuse is called

yes see if the power wire itself is touching metal at all, not the surround but the wire itself.

no on the whole run of the wire, take the wire completely out of the car

i found a little tear in the sorround but i dont know if it is down to the wire will that do anything?

just tape it up... if thats not it.... humm.... well maybe u have some loose wire from ur power cable at the amp touching something else and maybe its grounding to it

take the power wire off the battery and the amp, and use a multimeter to check for continuity to ground, if there is, the housing on the wire is likely cut somewhere. You could hook it up without fuses and look for the smoke too, though that's not really recomended and you should have a fire extinguisher handy.
