i have 4-12" infinity reference in 2 seperate boxes being pushed by a hifonics bx1500d. i had them inverted facing upward in the backseat od a '98 dakota. it sounded great in the truck but now i have an'04 grad cherokee and i cant get the lows to come through. is it something i'm doing wrong or is that just the way its going to sound in the jeep?

i have tried every way possible but i think it may be bacuase i have the boxes angled and it cant get the right reflection. if there is something else i will try it if not i'm going with 2-15s instead

First of all, you have the boxes under that cover which is going to automatically muffle the sound. And second of all they are sealed, I would go with one large ported box for all 4 subs, and tune low to maintain the SQ you are used to from the sealed enclosures.

the only thing with one box is i would have to stack the speakers and i want to keep a low profile. that is also why i keep that cover on them the windows are not dark enough yet. i was thinking about getting rid of the 12"s and goin with 2-15"s
