Fused Dist Block (1 -->2) can I just use one side?

I originally had two amps and now am only using one. I have a 1 (in) to 2 (out ) fused distribution block. Now that I am only using one amp can I still use the same dist block but only use on side? I planned on just leaving the fuse and wire off the other side..

Will that be ok?

yeah you can do that, but why not just run the wire straight to the amp and just skip the block

I could but like the extra protection of the fused block..

if you have a fuse on the power wire at the battery thats all the protection you need, because most amps have onboard fuses. Your amp will appricaite the extra current that the larger wire will supply.
