Fuse size

Ordered my wire and my dist blocks. Woot

Gonna run my sundown 150.4 and my cerwin vega 1000.1 to a dist block and that 15ft of 1/0 to the battery.

Thats 80 amps and probably another 80 amps and a c-dsp. So I should fuse at the battery with around 175-200amp fuse yes?

That's fine. The inline fuse is meant to protect the wire. You can fuse to the wire's spec, which might be something like 350A, but there's no problem fusing lower.

id use a 150a fuse personally, full range amps are known to use much much less current than rated.

even hard clipped, i havent measured more than 90a of current draw out of a hard clipped 1k amp on a dc clamp (fluke so it was in fact accurate)

I took all fuses out in my truck... They never blew and they would always get real hot and bottle neck my electrical.. No matter how tight and clean the connection is them plastic fuse holders would get hot and start to bubble when you start running enough power... Fuses are over rated.
