Fuse size

My friends running a Massive audio RS100 (supposedly 1000w RMS bridged at 4ohm) it keeps popping the fuse under the hood. I've already checked all the wiring. We are running 100amp fuse which I'm suspecting is too small. What size should I run?

With 4awg wire, you can do up to 150A fuse. If he currently has an AGU type fuse/holder, you should replace with an ANL fuse/holder rated 150A.

Here's a link to a chat that has all the info you need to know:

Recommended Power and Ground Cable Sizes & Speaker Wire Size and Length

Keep in mind, that fuse has nothing to do with amplifier rating. If the amp demands more current (no idea what its actual numbers are), you'll need to rewire with heavier gauge wiring.

I told her to change to ANL which we will do wendsday when we go to Bakersfield our town doesn't have any stores that stock those

Whent and bought an ANL fuse holder and 150amp fuse so hopefully that'll fix the issue also gonna wire the sub to 8ohms instead of 2 since the amp isnt made for 2ohm load bridged
