Fuse ratings?

Whats up guys, I'm new here and have a few questions. I'm about to install my stereo in my truck, I have the D3 head unit, mb quart component speakers, a zx450.2 amp for those, and 2 12" l7s with a zx1500.1 amp for those. The 2 channel amp has two 30 amp fuses in it, and the mono amp has a 150 amp external fuse. I bought an amp install kit which gave me a 200 amp inline fuse, so my question is this; will that 200 amp fuse work? I have the stock 105 amp alternator and stock battery, and I think I could turn the gain down on the mono amp so it doesnt pull too much from the alternator, but I was just wondering if the 200 amp fuse is the correct size to use.

Thanks.

You fuse for the size of the wiring. What size wire did the kit come with? 4ga is good for 125A fuse, and 1/0 is good for 300A fuse. You can fuse down and be ok though. Since your amps come with built-in fuses, you fuse per the wire size...

Thanks, I'm using 1/0 ga. So the fuse is just to protect the wiring? If I get a short in the amp, the amp fuse will blow right? But if the wire grounds out somewhere, thats why I need the extra fuse?

You guys have been a lot of help but I have one more question. I'm doing the big 3 with 1/0 ga wiring and I've heard it's smart to put a fuse in between the alternator and battery, but what size fuse do I use for that? The alternator is rated at 105 amps, do I still use a fuse for the wiring, or should it be rated for my alternator? I was thinking like an 80 amp fuse is what I need but I'm not sure.
