That is incorrect. The fuse is to protect the wire in case it shorts to the chassis, to keep from starting a fire.It seems to me that you guys arent really giving him the best advise. As an electrician .. I always size these things backward .. from the amp to the branch to the trunk line. You know? Just cuz he has 1/0 and #6 wiring doesnt mean that the fuse sizes are correct for his draw. The fuse sizes should be depending on the amps .. not the wire size ... You want to protect the amps, not the wire.
I'd run 150 @ batt, 100 sub, 50 comp
