fuse problem

Hey everyone its been awhile since i was in the audio sceen. I just got a honda civic for a comuter car and wanted to add some sound, but am having a problem.

I have a Alpine cd deck, fosgate p550.2 amp and 1 12 inch kenwood sub.

i hooked everything up right and bridged the amp for the one sub. but when i turn up the bass about half way the main fuse next to the battery blows. anyone know what this could be?

What size fuse does your amp require, and what fuse do you have in there?

ahh thanks man your a genius i have a 30A fuse and i need a 60A fuse. I bought a fosgate power line and thought it would have worked looks like i need to get another one since i dont think they make the kind i need in this form
