for the past 3 days i went through 7 fuses. their not popped in any way just one end of the fuses becomes now working no more, we used a volt meter to check. is there such thing as a circuit breaker or some sort? my brothers fuse doesnt ever pop all he does is take it out and put it back in. do you guys know what it is ? thanks sorry for noob questions.

the fuse is on the power wire.

ive had that problem a few times.. where the fuse look's fine.. but turns out the end contact's. one comes undone.. you can get a circuit braker as low as 60amps i think?

but i would just go out and buy a BETTER set of fuses

If he's gone through more than a half-dozen of them in a short amount of time I would suggest it's more likely a wiring problem rather than a bad batch of fuses.

I suppose it's possible but improbable.

I would work out WHY you're cooking those fuses first before you worry yourself with the added expense of a circuit breaker.

im not sure why i re-wired everything 3 times. moved the fuse to the trunk, to the engine bay and it still ends up happening. im not sure why =[ do you know where i can buy a circuit breaker? how much does it cost ? 2 days ago i took it to a friend that works at a shop .. he was telling me to get a circuit breaker.

Circuit breakers are available from most everywhere that sells car audio wiring and related accessories.

Crutchfield, the user bag-boy on eBay (and his off eBay site, http://www.darvex.com), pretty much any local audio shop, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.

Truly, however, all a circuit breaker would do for you at this point would be keeping you from buying fuses. Continually having to reset the creaker would most likely be just as annoying just not as expensive as having to keep buying fuses.

YOU NEED TO FIND THE WIRING ISSUE and correct it first before ANY of the above takes place. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Obviously there IS a problem - and likely one of those annoying little obvious things that is incredibly easy to overlook (even the most experienced of enthusiasts has had it happen to them and knows EXACTLY what I'm talking about here).

Before you encounter equipment damage or complete failure due to whatever issue is happening, though, don't just get a Band-Aid by way of the circuit breaker. Find and correct the problem first. I promise you'll thank me later. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
