Fuse looks as if it got really hot. Why?

I've got the setup in my sig and the fuse from the batts to the amp is a 150a fuse, what's recommended by kicker for the amp, and it looks as if it's gotten hot at one point. The little squiggly part of the fuse is not gold like the rest of it, it's blued like motorcycle pipes get after bein ran a couple times. What could have caused this? And is it bad?

It's not bad but it may be higher resistance than before. I would replace it if it were me. it did this because it got too hot. It got too hot because too much current was drawn through it. That's PROBABLY because you have your gain up too high.
