Fuse Idiot Lights...

What is the best way to wire up fuse status lights for amp/crossover fuses?

I want to have an area in my center console that tells me if things are going good... I know I could just "hear the silence" to tell something’s not working... but show points are show points...

Unless i'm missing something, all you'd need to do is wire the positive wire from the LED you use somewhere on the 'far' side of the fuse from the battery...when the fuse blows, the light goes out, because the wire for your positive to the LED no longer is connected to +.

I get this part, thanks for making sure though... guess I should have explained I am looking for the cleanest way to install. Should I slip the 18 gauge wire under the fuse block and have it attached to the same part of the fuse as the 8 gauge wire for the amp? Maybe this would hide the wire and keep things clean...

That's what i'd do. You're probably looking at no more than 30mA per LED @ 3v or so. Figure 24ga would be big enough to run as many LED's as you need. Not hard to conceal some 24ga //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
