anyone have a problem with thier fuse holder on thier power wire where the power signal is not sent past the side closest to the battery? yesterday i had everything hooked up and running. then that night i go to go home from work.. and no power to my amp.. today i check it with a multimeter.. and ive got 12.2 to the closest side.. and like .3 to the furthest side. happen to anyone? if so what did u do...

eraser trick? never heard of it.. although i did try to do it with my tippman to make it fully automatic =D. its like the fuse isnt connecting to the furthest side of the holder from the batter.. o yea.. we also stuck both if the fuse holders together to see if the current would pass thru.. and it did pass thru with no fuse.. the fuse didnt really fit "snug" in the holders.. we tried cutting a piece of wire and putting the copper on top of the fuse to make it fit snug.. but that didnt let the current pass either

Sounds like fuse is bad. Look under magnifying glass to look for a seperation of the metal. Or check for continuity of fuse on each end with your multimeter (if it allows you)

it's common in some cheap fuses for a poor solder where the element connects to the endcap to cause some extra resistance - therefore heat - and eventually open with just typical current flow. If ther'es not a visible problem with the fuse I bet that's what you have.

well it was fine before... like i had listened to my system that day. I was on my way back to work from pizza hut.. and this kid was trying to be loud in the parking lot.. i turned on late nite tip on like 30 outta 40.. which was the highest i had played it.. worked fine whole way back to work.. that nite i go out and nothing happened.. i looked at the fuse connector on the furhest end, and where the fuse went in it kinda looked like the gold plating got burnt off. im planning on going and getting some 4 guage wire from Advance.. anyone know what the price is per foot of 4 g wire @ advance? and im also getting a new fuse holder. anyone know what size fuse i should have on my power wire? ive got a planet audio p1250d, and its got 4x 30 amp fuses on it. fuse on power wire right now is a 60.

no, it played FINE for 2 days.. if i had a digi cam i would show u the readouts.. the fuse is FINE i tested the fuse inside the connector to the battery side of the cable.. read 12.2. What size fuse do you reccommend..
