So a distribution block is a fuse holder plus some?? If just one amp was to be used would it make a difference which to use?A fuse holder protects your line from voltage spikes. A distribution block can split up the connection to run the wire to multiple amplifiers.
Current spikes, not voltage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifA fuse holder protects your line from voltage spikes.
Not really the way to think about it. You can have fused distribution blocks, and you can have inline fuseholders that don't do any sort of splitting. So a distribution block is a fuse holder plus some??
If you had one amp, you wouldn't need a distro block unless you wanted to leave yourself room to upgrade. If just one amp was to be used would it make a difference which to use?
Not always....there are many distribution blocks that offer no internal fusing whatsoever and consequently still require some sort of other fusing to be included inline on the power cabling. So a distribution block is a fuse holder plus some??
See JimJ's response to this.If just one amp was to be used would it make a difference which to use?
^^^^^^^^^^^^Does brand name matter when it comes to this? Big 3 requires distribution block right?
