i just ran a 4 gauge kicker amp kit in my car. i have a 2 ch sony 600 watt amp to it. it was sounding and playing good for a couple of days. then no bass. the big 80 agu fuse under the hood went out. i replaced it with a bigger fuse and it still goes out. i didnt have the stereo on and it went out. as soon as i put the fuse in it goes out. can you guys give me some help?

first of all when any fise blows the worse thing you can do is put a bigger one in... a fuse blows when there is way to much amperage running through the wires putting a bigger fuse in it will allow more through and could cause a fire if it is shorted out... now with that said, the way you explain it is that fuse blows immediately when you put it in this leads me to your wire being shorted to ground check out your run of 4 gauge and see if it is cut or sliced open anywhere or if the ends are touching a ground or metal
