i am doing the big 3 steps and when it comes to wire the alternator i know if you use a fuse and it blows out and then you would need a new alternator so i was wondering if could use a circuit breaker on a alternator and would burn out the alternator to

where did you get this mess from? The blowing of a fuse wont kill your alternator, something else has to be wrong for your alternator to bite the dust. In the big 3 all you are doing is adding another power wire from the alt to the battery, if that fuse blows its like that run was taken off.

Over time circuit breakers will wear down after each trip. A fuse never wears out, if it blows you put a brand new one in.

someone told me that on another car audio site so i got stock alternator and it dont have a fuse on it but i am sure my alternator is like a 120 amp so what kind of fuse i would use but right now i got the stock 4 gauge alt. wire and i added another new 4 gauge to my stock wire to my alternator right now with no fuse and it works fine but people say if the wires get pinched it could cause a fire so i wonna be on the safe side and i got a 150 amp anl fuse would that work
