Fuse Alternator to battery?

I was wondering if i should fuse the alternator to the battery when doing the big 3? And if so what size fuse? My alternator is stock 70A.

yes you should. you can never have to much overkill on the size fuse, but there is a minumum, in your case 70 amp, hell, thats even if they make a 70 amp fuse that would work but i would probably run at least a 100 amp.

i've never seen that done before but i guess it couldnt hurt as long as you got the right size

if you dont and somehow get a short, instead of that fuse blowing, it could be you and/or the car blowing up so its welllllllll worth it my friend.

mehh... i drive a 76 blazer only computers on it are in my portable gps and sound system. But for newer cars i see what your saying
