funny talk with ups guy

so today i was driving out of my house and i see the ups guy droping something off up the street. i asked him if he had a package for me, he did. he hands me my package and says "its a good thing they put a fragile sticker on it. ups isnt very 'gentile'. haha im sure i shouldnt say that"

now i know a lot of you look down on ups but ive never had a problem with any package. but now a ups guy says it too. guess ill find a local fedex now.

and a side note, MY AMP IS FIXED! just waiting for it to come back to me. finaly going to see what my subs can do.

Depends on the package handlers mainly . Most of the time they are hurrying to reach the nights qouta so they just throw the packages on the trucks to speed up the process.

Exactly! People don't think it goes on at Fed Ex? I know someone who worked at Fed Ex and mentioned how packages get kicked around and such.

Sometimes they will mess with the package just because it says fragile. Or if you have a box wrapped in pink, they are surely to do something. Best thing to do is make it look like the other normal packages.

I worked at tha P.O. during Christmas when I was 20 and we used to kick the shit out of everything. Fun times. It was all game as long as you didn't open it.

i can agree with the drivers statement about UPS being rough on packages....

Long story short, i just bought a FI 10" BL from "kharps" on this site...the package, luckily, was insured....below is a pic of the outcome. This package had a weight of 37# but only weighed about 3# when i picked it up to take it inside.

The sub and ALL of the packaging fell out of the hole in the side of the box. Sub was wrapped in bubble wrap and box was packed tight with peanuts.....I'll never use UPS again!!!

whats really sad is the fact that they didnt even hesitate to drop off this EMPTY box. You would think one would be smart enough to see the rip in the box, and inspect for damage or whatever....
