Best way to prep surface for Deadening?

I gave it a washdown with regular floor cleaner like mr clean or somethin and it worked great, as long as you get any dust or particles out so you have a clean surface youll be good

Which product? True butyl-based mat doesn't need a lot of prep...maybe a good once over, if that.

If it's dirty, then Simple Green or soap and water. But, I suppose it depends what's on the surface and if you need to cut it with a solvent or not.

Yeah...paint thinner? I'll disregard that suggestion.

I'm not for certain the exact make up man. It's coming from a company called Tsunami.
Plenty of shops reconmend it.Plus why ask such a stupid question, what you got a dead body in your trunk that has blood stains and shit? just use some water and soap for crist sake lol

Naw, I always use large trash bags and cover my trunk for the bodies.

But I see your point and appreciate the suggestion All in all, thinner might not be a bad idea for the for the spare tire tub.

Now fvck off.
