The space that is available would allow for the baffle to sit on the floor of the cab 9" from the rear wall at the bottom and would rest against the wall just under the window. The plan also will have sides that will be contoured as required. Now I know that the wall of the cab will need "Dynamat" or comparable product attached to it. This will have a dual purpose. To deaden the vibrations of the metal and a way to "seal" the baffle. The advantages of doing an enclosure like this is to use all of those nooks & cranny's for overall internal airspace volume. Ultimately 3 or 4 - 12" subs (unknown til actual volume of enclosure is calculated) will reside in the baffle.
Is this far fetched or possibly a start of something that will satisfy my growling hunger for sub-sonic ecstacy? Have any of you ever seen or heard of this? Do you have any suggestions? (I don't wanna hear "Get a different vehicle") Should I port the enclosure? If so, how? Will I want to install "dividers"? Any thoughts or concerns will be considered. And just to add; I'm lookin for the type of BOOM that will knock the windshield out. Seriously.
p.s. The cutting of the cab/bed will NOT be considered.
Thankyou
