I'm confused...did you get what was in the picture or no? If it's the same item in the picture, then maybe whoever was selling it didn't know what it was themselves?

i don't see how you are saying its a 2500 after the email he showed from dd and its clearly stamped 4500 on the underside of the cone

fact that he didnt know what it was and DD stamped it as a 4500 on the cone makes me feel like it was not intentional or it indeed is a 4500 and a different model then you are aware of. It is very possible a few different versions could have been made.

the stamp on the cone doesnt mean its a 4500 i got some 1000 series that has 4500 and a bunch of other numbers on them.... the thing that gave it away is that dd has a sticker on the inside of the basket that says what the sub is and it says 2500. The guy didnt do a misprint bc it was on ebay as a 4500 too. On the other fourm i use which is a DD forum there was a guy on there that has owned a 4500 series 15 and he said that is not a 4500 it is way to big

I would say it cuts both ways. If you do not have enough knowledge to identify it from the pics, then you should not have bought it.....

well when some 1 says they have talked to dd about it and no 1 really knows about them bc they are so rare then u would expect the seller to find out what he has on this fourm or from DD then post a forsale thread
