Remote turn on to your CD player (I believe), then a power and a ground. There are only 3 wires coming off the back of it.

very easy to install, nice and bright too. It is adjustable so you can set it right with a DMM. I would run remote turn on and power right to your amp, or close by.

You can adjust it so that it has an "off" point but I don't recall it being capable of being calibrated for variances. What you should do is hook it all up and then compare it side by side next to a DMM for accuracy and knowning what type of losses the meter is seeing.

The only time Ive had to adjust mine was on my 16v system. When I hooked it back up to 12v, it already read correctly. So I guess it's adjustable if you are running higher voltages.

you can that is how i had mine hooked up

and they way you adjust it is you take the cover off the meter and have a small phillips head srew driver and the the little knob to set it
