Sold FS: Old School Crossfire CFA Amps

I didn't think this day would come, but it's time to depart from my beloved Crossfire amps. They are three CFA series amps, the original old school amps that got Crossfire in the winning circle. The new VR series do not compare to these ones, and we know that Crossfire underates these old CFA amps, to the point of putting at least 10% more than the advertised power.

I bought these amps brand new back in 2000 and I have used them on every single installation with no problems at all. They have never been repaired. They have a few scratches from installations and they work flawlessly. I only have two owners manuals, but you can download them from the Crossfire web page.

200WRMS x 2 @ 2 ohms

400WRMS x 1 @ 4 ohms bridged

I have a magazine that did a bench test of the CFA-602, which is rated at 150WRMS x 2 @ 4 ohms and 600WRMS bridged @ 4 ohms.

Bench results:

4ohm at 13.8V 207WRMS x 2

4ohm at 14.4V 235WRMS x 2

4ohm at 13.8V 683WRMS x 1

4ohm at 14.4V 770WRMS x 1

I hope this gives you an idea.
