May consider trades for other car audio/non-car audio items, feel free to pm me with any questions you may have reguarding the boxes listed above, thanks!

*PM ME WITH YOUR ZIPCODE FOR BEXT PRICE~!

I apologize for the error. The box is in fact 3.5 cubes @ 38Hz with a Lv of 24", port width of 4" and height of 12". I was going from memmory, I should have written it down, but I did a quick WIN ISD calculation and it the external dimensions of 37.5 x 13.5 x 16.32" would be 3.5 cubes Exactly, but the box is 37.5 x 13.5 x 16", so it is .02666666 cubic feet off of 3.5 cubes, so the box is EXACTLY: 3.47333334 cubic feet I apologize for the mistake, let me know if you have any interest. This box was initially built for 2 type R's, but for the calculation I did tonight, I used the sub disp of the reSE from reaudio.com, which said .15 cubes each. Thanks, just let me know!
You might want to recalculate your volume... cause im getting far less than 3.47 after all displacements...

.79cubes is port displacment (4 x 12 x 24) and .15 per sub (.3 total), so gross net volume is 4.09cubic ft. Tuned to 38Hz and a volume of 3.5 cubic ft would say my box is 37.5 x 13.5 x 16.32, so i take (.32 x 12)/144) and get a displacment of .02666666 cubic ft, soooo..... 3.5 - .026666 cubes leaves the box at 3.4733334. I have calculated this multiple times, and I am sure its correct. Instead of attempting to post dump, please pm me with all additional comments.

If you'll take 100 shipped for the dual 12" box id consider takin it:p:
lol nty, I sold a 2.5 cubic ft box @ 32Hz with a kerfed port the same size as this one for $125 + PP and sold it with no problem //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. If shipping was the cost of a loaf of bread, then I would consider it sold.

36 x 12 x 14.82 = 6402.24

6402.24 / 1728 = 3.705 gross

After sub displacement = 3.405

Port displacement = 4.75 x 12 x 24 = .791

So 3.405 - .791 = 2.614 NET

Close enough though, right? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

lol you are not right, re-read my calculations posted above and then pm me, I dont want to turn this thread into a discussion, there is nothing to discuss, this is a forsale thread, you are either interested, or you're not. I used the simple port calculations in the sticky made by ngsm13 and used WIN ISD Pro Alpha.

I came up with the same displacements as you did. You just calculated the gross volume incorrectly. Grab a calculator, type in 36 x 12 x 14.32 hit the equals button. Then divide it by 1728 and tell me what you get. It wont be 4.09 I guarantee that...

coming from someone who doesnt design nor calculate the boxes he builds.... I took 3.0 + port disp + sub disp. Then I took (37.5 x 13.5). I took 4.09 x 1728 and divided it by (37.5 x 13.5) and found the third dimension of my box, and if the box was exactly 3.0 cubes after all port and sub disp, the side would be 16.32" long, and it was 16" long, so take (.32 x 12)/144), and subtract that from 3.0, and you get 3.473334cubic ft. Anyhow, if you have no interest in purchasing this box, please feel free to not post any additional post dumping comments. Thanks.

You did it wrong then. You have to take the internal dimensions of the box, not the over all dimensions. Otherwise, you have not counted for the displacement of the wood.

Even by doing that, your numbers dont come up correctly... so I dunno exactly what your doing. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Just because I dont design my own boxes, doesnt mean I cant. And it sure doesnt mean I dont have the capability to do simple math... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

And I dont plan on leaving this thread until you can learn to correctly identify what you are selling. It is no different than someone selling a sub, claiming its a D4 vc, and someone pop in and say, it was actually a D2, they had previously sold them that woofer. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

*sigh* OK John, time to sit down and learn something...

The image below is what the inside of your box looks like, right? See where it shows the area of the red shaded section? Figure that with a 12" inside box height, and you have a volume of 2.82cf.

Take away .14cf for sub displacement (each Type R is .07cf), and you have 2.68cf

A 2 68cf box, with a 4x12 port, 24" long, is tuned to 40Hz.

That box is 2.68cf @ 40Hz. Your other boxes are off similarly as well.

I'm not flaming, as that doesn't seem to work with you anyway, I'm actually trying to teach you something. Either listen or don't...
