draws around 228A under 0.5 load. Was using 2 Batcap 3000's with it, never dropped below 13.4
What the hell!!!!More like 600-700ADC@.5!:crazy:The box says right on it the thing pulls 400A's and an eletrical upgrade is required.

I would not suggest running this amp at .5 daily. It will get very hot and could lead to problems down the road. With a good electrical backing it you will get decent power at 1 ohm and be less stress on the amp.

actually clamped it only was drawing 228.......@0.5 ohm. does get hot and needs proper cooling and ventalation. Box Rise also a huge factor. Set for 1 ohm total rise and ur good.

I think you clamped it wrong then buddy. WAY wrong. That thing draws that number more like at 4 ohms and up. Not at .5 At .5 its more over 500 amps.

Dont get it wrong I have owned them. And loved owning them. But you will fry that amp running it at .5 with a lack luster eletrical back up power.
