It was never abused ran ~2000 watts to it from an exile x2400.1 It was used in a 3.5 cubes@35hz box.

I gave a pair 2300rms in a 8 cube box tuned to 30 hz and bottomed one out....now the coil former scratches against the pole piece....in my opinion 2000rms per sub is way overrated due to the suspension....i'm sure the coil could take it but the suspension is too loose...just my opinion though

you're tuning the box way too low try 35hz n give it the same amount of power or more. =)
