Frost on my Amps

It's hella cold here in the midwest and when I go out to my car, the amps are frosted over. Should I be using them in this state?

Also, it seems like the system isn't as loud. Does cold do this?

i dont really know. but i do know that if its hella cold, shit dont get a good charge? like batts? but i really dont know if thats ur problem? but if it seems less louder now id park under something or out of the weather you know

Your trunk seal probably leaks letting cold air in causing frost on the amps "assuming" they're in the trunk...

Batteries are just chemicals. If it's cold the battery can't supply the same rate of power as at optimal temperature. The question is when is cold too cold.

It depends, do your amps get warm if they do they could melt the frost and short something else if they dont warm up fold your seats down and with them off warm the car up.

I would just insulate them with a heavy blanket overnight to keep the frost off them?

I live in pretty extreme weather also, but never had frost on my amps.
