How would you feel about putting 2 sets of components in the front stage? no rear speakers, and then two 10's (im a p*****) i dont like loud subs lol. so how would you feel having 2 sets of pg rsds as front stage power by 300rms each set...?

No, you'll have the same frequencies being produced by two drivers, which will destroy your imaging. To get that sounding remotely good you'd have to do A LOT of EQing and need a good HU with time alignment. It's just so much easier to avoid the headache and use one set. Pick either the kicks or in the doors.

you can use two mids and sound decent at most, but adding a second tweet would kill everything

It just sucks that i only have 2.25 top mount depth. I dont see how it could kill my imaging but i guess. Well, anyone else?

You could run 2 mids and a single tweeter per side, works very well in my set up....

thanks, see it sucks because i have 2.25 top mount depth in my door, so i ordered the beyma rfk 62 component set, which supposeduly isn't that good. Ill throw that guy in my door, the pg rsd 65's in the kick (does anyone know the top mount depth of pg rsd 65's?) and either the pg tweets or the beyma tweets in the dash or kick, where do you think it would sound better? which tweeter do you think would sound better?

I definately wouldn't have 2 different component sets for the frontstage.

You can extend that by building MDF baffles to decouple the speakers from the door panel, which you should do anyway...

opkay thank you but the mdf spacers wont fit with the stock speaker covers we checked it. its gay. ill get more pg rsd's then hehe

Or just go with kickpod-mounted midbasses, which will be more on-axis anyway.

I'd go with one pair of midbasses and one pair of tweets, from the same set. Anything else is just asking for trouble. Unless a coherent soundstage really isn't a priority for you, in which case just throw as many speakers in there as you can.
