Front Stage: Whats yours and why did you buy it?

I'm looking for a front stage. Something under $250. Nothing complicated. I don't have the time or desire to perform a lot of tweeking in my system.

My system's is focused on SQ simply because I don't have the airspace I need for a ported enclosure.

The vehicle is an 08 Sport Trac. The sub stage and amps will be behind the rear seats. I can't fit my 1202D units behind the seat so I'm thinking of going with a pair of Kicker CVX10 units.

right now I'm running powerbass 2xl coaxials amped in the front because I didn't want to deal with tweeter placement in my car. They sound good, but not as good as the Rockford power series components I had in previously

I've got Boston Acoustics SL-80's for my front and rear stages on a Kicker zx650.4. They are super juicy, but not as much midbass as I'd like as they are only a 5 1/4" driver.

PG rsd 6'5 comps and a us amps merlin in my car. I messed up one of my old cdt mids and saw allot of good reviews on the rsd's and wanted to give them a try.

well i like the focal upper end sets and my pioneer premier set. if you want VERY VERY WARM fronts go with the premiers. if you want lots of highs go with focal

Infinity Ref 6x8s front and 6x9 rear fill amped by a alpine 4x70w rms @ 4 ohm amp (4x100w rms @ 2ohm)

Soon Im ditching the amped rears and bridging my amp (2x200w rms @ 4 ohm) to power some ID CTX65 comps (they are between dallas and my house right now)

If you only want to spend $250 for an amp and speakers your budget will be very tight, but if $250 is only speakers check out some Hertz or ID comps

Well I completely trusted my original dealer to help me pick out what was best for me and he did a great job. I've actually got a JBL CS60.4 Amp and a JBL CS300.1 Mono Amp. I can only assume that one of those was originally mated to the Cadence front stage I originally had in my F150. I left all that crap in the truck when I traded it because it didn't cost me much and I didn't want to pay to remove it.

Now that business is slower I have the time to mess with learning more about this stuff.

Yeah you might think gay, but since I do compete in sq...And car audio is very subjective... I dont want to tell everyone what amps I am running... Maybe they are TRU or Zapco...Maybe they are Pyramid or Lanzar... I am conducting a little experiment.. and so far... my theory is correct. So say what you want...
