Front stage options

Hi everyone,

Im building a very unique sound system for my car. It will be an Xtant only system utilizing all the old school equipment. This means Xtant speakers too. Now anyone with a bit of experience in car audio would know how hard it is to source any Xtant speakers.

Heres my planned setup:

-2 x Xtant X104 (already have both)

-1 x X1001 (dont have yet)

-1 x X604 (dont have yet)

-1 x 404m (already have)

-1 x P500 parametric equalizer (already have)

-XSC2.4 component set (already have)

-XSC2.6 component set (dont have yet)

Im planning to install two sets of components up front with nothing at the back. Ive decided to go for components instead of the point source coaxials as I want to raise the sound stage and also to prevent my leg from blocking out the highs in the music.

At the moment Im sourcing a set of XSC2.6 and its proving to be mission impossible. However, I know someone that has a set of XSC2.4. I am also considering the option of turning my 4" component system into a 3 way set up using Morel woofers, high passing the 4" Xtant woofers into midbass drivers? Is this a better idea than running the twin XSC2.4 setup?

The system will be going into a performance car, so kick panel positioning is out of the question.

So whats your opinion guys?
