1)ok, i finally have come into enough money to buy new comps and an amp. here's my setup so far....pg xenon 12d4 and a x600.1 with an apline 9830 hu. the sub is in a probox. my truck is an 04 chevy extended cab. all the area under my backseat is occupied w/ my sub and amp. so where can i mount another amp? the amp i was looking at is the profile ap1040 and bridge the channels and just turn the amp down quite a bit....im guessing that the amp might do about 200x2 bridged? maybe, yes, no? if there is a better amp for the money please inform me and direct me where to look. i am not glued to this amp yet.

2)then i need components. my front doors are 6.5 oversized. i probly need more mid than tweet. i was looking at the apline type Rs or type X, re re, polk momo carbon(would need adapters to mount in doors)(on egay), kicker ks65.2.

i will probly be impressed by whatever i get cause all i have now are stock door speakers. my budget for amp and speakers is 300. the amp i found for a little over a hundred shipped so i have about 200 for speakers. i have been searching around for about 2-3 weeks and i have searched the forums and know that there are threads on about this but they arnt comparing the same speakers....and none of them in a truck....everyone has a car. all info is welcomed. thanks

i would get 2 xtant 100 watt mono amps for left and right if u were worried about space the would fitt under each seat pretty easy they are about cd size and sound excellent

i think the room under my passenger seat is like 14x12xsomething.....i know whatever amp wont be too tall. im more concerned w/ speakers than the amp.....my main deal w/ the amp was under the seat a good place to mount it....i have seen installs where people did it behind the rear seat but i always thought it would get hot back there. but my main goal is opinions on speakers listed....i really like car audio but i dont think i will be able to tell the minute differences in speakers....i have heard the alpine type Rs at bestbuy....not the greatest place to listen to them, but there is no place else around here to listen to any of the others.

Why dont you just get these, since youve enjoyed your xenon equipment.
