i have 4x6 polk momo plates in my car. clean but no midbass at all they are amped also. they are plates so its a 4 inch cone on its own and a seaperate tweeter i thought id get more midbass that way rather than a 4x6 coaixle but it didnt help. i was going to jump to 5 1/4 but it seems to be the same concept a 4 inch speaker with a 1.25 tweeter so would that be pointless. i have the amp and wiring i just need something that can produce some midbass.
