new stereo 4 channel amp install sounds great works great except slight hiss

what could this be? when i turn the radio all thew way down there is a slight hiss out of all 4 speakers its constant doesnt change with the motor its very quite not that noticeable goes away with power of radio off is this normal if not what causes a quite hiss that doesnt change with the motor speed?

i bought stingers highest quality ones but they all 4 touch when connected on the amp because the tips are so fat could this be why should i wrap them in electrical tape i forgot to add everything is deffinantly hooked up with i checked everything before i completed install and tested them.

I would start there, they could be jumping signals across each other.

ok so went outside i disconnected all the rcas and it still hisses lightly if you turn the volume all the way down still hisses if you hit pause the hiss goes away. so the only way to get rid of the hiss is to hit pause or turn radio off so since rcas disconeccted still give a hiss whats left for the culprit?

when mine did that I did the pioneer ground loops on the back of my radio.

I had the same noise you have with my kenwood and i did the ground thing.

Might be worth a try.
