Front side door deadening help

Just picked up my new front door components - Focal KRX2 - getting ready to install in my 2010 Escalade-

I plan on deadening the doors with a secondskin door deadening kit, and installing F.A.S.T. rings-

i also picked up a set of these XTC speaker baffles- not sure if i should be using these with the door deadening or not- so I'm looking for input on using both -

The baffles are meant to have the bottom cut out.
