front left component speaker not working???

just like it says above... i installed a set of alpine components and tweeters in my caqr on monday and a set of co-ax in the rear... and i realized tonight coming home from work that the front left alpine component does work but the tweeter does and they are hooked up to the same 2 way cross over. i have each side(left and right) front and back speakers running in parallel to a 2 channel amp...any reason why the one speaker wouldnt work when the tweeter does?????? any help would be great

Sounds like the connection to the mid itself is faulty. I'd check the wiring in the door as well as at the x-over.
