Front and Rear stages

Looking to finally pick up an amp for my front comps. PG RSD65's. My question is could I just power my stock rear speakers off the HU power or should I just skip rear fill. Im not going to be bumping all the time so I think it would be nice to have some rear fill.

I was thinking I would be able to adjust fade anyways so if I only wanted front fill I could fade it front and so on. How would I wire this. Would I just skip wiring the front speakers to the HU and only do the back

This question, like many others, gets asked countless times. And the answer is almost always the same:

Test it both ways, and see what YOUR ears like best. There is no right or wrong way to do it. It's all up to what sounds good to you.

Personally, I like rear fill. But, some like it, some don't. It is all personal preference.

If you wanted, you could get a sundown 100.4D and run those front comps active.

And IMO you'd be better off getting a new headunit with 3 sets of pre outs. That would make things a hell of alot easier and your SQ would be better.

its has 3 sets of outputs. Im lookin at a sax100.2 do I need for channels to run active? and no one answered my question

yes you need 4 channels to run active

Now you guys got me thinking about going active. Crappp. So how would I set this up? Just runa 4 channel amp and thats all I need?
