Front 6 x 9 in 99 Cavalier

i was on here one day and found a guide that showed how to install 6 x 9 in the front of a cavalier. i was wondering if any of you could direct me to the location of that guide. another thing if anyone could tell me and show me how to remove the front speaker panl that would be great along with... the rempval of the stereo. thasnks everyone.

The factory size is a 4x6" in this vehicle, if you want to try and squeeze a 6x9" in there, get ready to cut the panel and make a entire new mount. Don't try it and 6x9" speakers for the most part **** blue whale for tonal response. What you should do is take out the factory mount and make a panel that attaches to it to hold a single 6.5" coax speaker if you are after good basic sound without having to cut up the door panel.

before we go with this any further, pre-1994 body style - or post-1995 body style? pre-1994 has 3.5" in the dash. so good luck if you have that. kick panels or chopped doors are about your only bet.

as far as an alternator goes ( if you are lookin for one ) i got one that fits post-1994 cavaliers. $125 shipped. 160 amps (stock with the car is 80 amps, and the same cost to replace.)

oh well forget that... anyone know where i can get some guides to remove the door panel and the front dash. i dont really feel like paying for a guide im only going to use once.
