So how long have you been Building drivers?
The dd woofers don't really need a big box.. it depends on port are tuning and power.
I've had better results with the smaller boxes and a **** load of Port area . The larger boxes do good on limited power in some classes.
I tried from 3 cubes to 12 cubes for the 9515. Every cabin/car is different.
When I design a driver I use large signal parameters. Aka real world application.
You understand the dumax/knipple test?
Small signal parameters are cold..
Power compression is defined when the bl drops off very similar to the calculated b/l curves over excursion.
Powe're compression is normally considered non linear once qes is doubles..
Dd designs there woofers in the same fashion. The small signal parameters don't quite add up but that's typical when designing woofers in this fashion..
