its call high MMS and inductance.. i could tell you that without touching it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifnaaa that ain't gonna happen. Perfectly happy with everything in my system. I experienced something interesting about that sub and that article confirmed it. Needs to be crossed over really low.
its depends on what you want/like every design has its faults..So tell me this then, in your opinion, what do you suggest? Just curious.
Thanks. Looks like a descent driver. Looks like they only recommend a porter box. Their 18 calls for 7-8 cubes. My enclosure is part of the car. The spare tire well was cut out, dropped and all glassed in with the half box bolted on top. Very odd shapes and rounded into nooks and crannies. Not much chance of getting an accurate volume. Plus I prefer the sound of sealed. I want to keep my backseat so not going any bigger on box size.ZCON 15 Sound Solutions Audio 15" 2250W ZCON Series Subwoofer - SSA STORE4 cubes tuned to 35 with 80in^2 of port area.. even with 1800 it will POUND
That fi sounds nice. Too bad it's low power rating. My amp is 2400 rated at 2 ohms. Doesn't have a 1 ohm rating but someone said they clamped at 3600. The person I bought it from was using it at 1 ohm. I'm guessing a solid 3k. If I ever was going to change subs I would give it a go at 1 ohm so probably would need a sub rated at 2500ish.
