My buddy of mine has a 2002 dodge 1500 4 door with 2 p3 shallow mounts under the rear seats with 2 different kenwood amps powering each sub. He recently bought a bigger prefab box that makes the back seats lean up a little and it doesn't sound bad but i know it can sound better and get louder.
Any suggestions? I'm going to look at his setup today and he told me he would have an open mind and actually listen to me. I know he uses bass boost and maybe loudness so i'm going to find a couple articles on why not to use it. I was going to show him the articles on capacitors and the big 3 also. I'm going to help him set his amps settings up correctly to and make sure his subs are wired correctly.
Now me having only a little amount of experience in car audio is their anything else i should check or go over with him? So far i think this site has made me more knowledgeable about car audio than anybody i know
And is there any site or article that proves my AQ1200 and IA DR are under rated and not some off brand? He seems to think differently.
